🇩🇪 Der Zrmanja Canyon ist einer der berühmtesten Winnetou Drehorte der 60er Jahre. Er ist Karl May's Grand Canyon.
Hier auf dem Zrmanja Plateau oberhalb des Canyons wurden Old Shatterhand (Lex Barker) und Winnetou (Pierre Briece) Blutsbrüder.
Old Shatterhand trifft hier auch seine geliebte Nscho-tschi zum ersten Mal.
Der Zrmanja-Fluss ("Rio Pecos" in den Filmen) entsteht im südlichen Velebit Gebirge und fließt durch die kernige Landschaft nach Obrovac und schlussendlich in die Adria.
