🇩🇪 Drachenzähne auf 2050m Höhe.
Der Plamort (=toter Boden), ein Hochmoor im Grenzgebiet zu Italien, war Teil des Alpenwalls im Zweiten Weltkrieg.
Zum Schutz vor einer eventuellen Invasion der Wehrmacht bauten die Italiener diese Anlage mit mehreren Bunkern und einer 500m langen Panzersperre.
Als die Werhmacht dann 1943 tatsächlich von Österreich aus einmarschierte, wurde die Anlage kampflos übergeben.
Heute sind davon noch 2 Teilstücke je 25m gut zu sehen.

The Plamort (=dead ground), a high moor in the border area with Italy, was part of the Alpine Wall during the Second World War.
To protect against a possible invasion by the Wehrmacht, the Italians built this fortification with several bunkers and a 500m long tank barrier.
When the Werhmacht actually invaded from Austria in 1943, the installation was surrendered without a fight.
Today, 2 sections of it, each 25m long, are still clearly visible.
