🇩🇪 Wir waren gemeinsam mit Freunden in Rom und haben an den Feierlichkeiten für den 2777. Geburtstag der Stadt teilgenommen.
Wir hatten unser Lager der Spätantike (3./4. Jhd.) mitten im Circus Maximus, nahmen an der großen Pompa (der Parade) teil und besuchten verschiedene Sehenwürdigkeiten der Stadt. Unter anderem die Kirche "Basilica Santa Sabina", mehr dazu in diesem Blogartikel.
Denn der Legende nach hat Romulus am 21. April 753 v. Chr. die Stadt gegründet.
🇬🇧 We were in Rome with friends and took part in the celebrations for the city's 2777th birthday.
We had our camp of late antiquity (3rd/4th century in the middle of the Circus Maximus, took part in the great pompa (parade) and visited various sights in the city. Among other things, the church “Basilica Santa Sabina”, more about this in this blog article.
According to legend, Romulus founded the city on April 21, 753 BC.
